The documentary portrays the ecological relevance of the oceanic Brazilian islands. At the first moment, the expedition crew visits the most inhospitable islands ib Brazil: Trindade and Penedos de São Pedro and São Paulo. Later on, the crew exploits the Rocks Atol, the only atoll in the south of the Atlantic. Besides gorgeous under and above water footage, the documentary presents Lima Duarte as the narrator.
